Main Locations of Türk Hava Kurumu University
Main Aviation and Pilot Training Campus:
The main campus dedicated to aviation and pilot training is located 15 km from the center of Ankara, along the main road leading to Istanbul, and covers an area of approximately 1,600 decares. The campus includes a range of departments and practical facilities such as a hangar, tower, operations building, control room, and simulation center, with a total enclosed area of 19,030 square meters and an open area of 86,409 square meters. It also features an asphalt runway measuring 1,500 × 45 meters for student training.
Akköprü Campus:
Akköprü Campus is located in Ankara’s Altındağ district and covers a total area of 12,472 square meters. The campus enjoys a convenient location, only a 5-minute walk from Akköprü Metro Station and the Atatürk Cultural Center.
İzmir – Selçuk Campus:
The İzmir – Selçuk Campus is located in the İzmir-Selçuk area and benefits from a mild climate and favorable weather conditions, making it ideal for year-round flight training. The campus is approximately 75 km from İzmir and includes a range of training facilities such as a hangar, tower, simulator, operations building, and control room, providing a comprehensive training experience for students of the Vocational School of Aviation and the Flight School.
